Vintage
Selection n.25 (Firenze, 28 gennaio - 1 febbraio 2015)
Edition”,
per festeggiare i primi 25 anni della manifestazione.
“Vintage
Filati 76.
mostra “Silver
Night Fever”
Lampinposa,
che ha registrato un boom di scatti nella giornata di domenica;
l’installazione “Silver
Collection”
realizzata da “TAF
-Trova, Allestisce, Fotografa”
assieme alla Scuola internazionale di Comics. Ancora, molto
l’occasione. Last
but not least, grande
successo anche per i workshop
tenuti da Angelo Caroli, titolare di A.N.G.E.L.O. Vintage Palace, e
dall’esperta
Aurora Fiorentini.

The
25th
“Silver
Edition”
confirms Vintage Selection
as
the vintage world’s reference fair-event
packed with events and new special projects
packed with events and new special projects
Vintage Selection n.25 (Florence, 28 January - 1 February 2015) came to an end at the Stazione Leopolda with figures and comments that confirmed its role as the reference event in the world of Italian and international vintage. Over the five days that it was open to the public, the prestigious market-fair featuring vintage fashions, shelf-items and culture as well as quality remakes, registered good attendance figures, confirming the numbers for the last winter edition, with peaks in attendance on the Saturday and Sunday. There were a lot of positive comments regarding the fair’s formula as well as the events and special projects presented at this “Silver Edition”, which celebrated the fair’s first 25 years.
“Vintage
Selection has once again confirmed the high quality of its proposals
and content”, says Agostino
Poletto, sole director of Stazione Leopolda, “it
is a fair that
is
increasingly structured as a research laboratory for the most
important international fashion designers and style bureaus who are
in Florence at the same time for Pitti Filati 76. This synergy is
becoming increasingly well-established: our exhibitors – more than
70 vintage fashion and remake firms from all over Italy –
registered a significant presence of international members of the
trade who made purchases and carried out in-depth research on the
items presented. There was also a high quality public of enthusiasts
intent on flushing out regular cult and designer label pieces, who
also allowed themselves to get caught up in the packed program of
fringe events focused on vintage culture and its thousands of
lifestyle applications”.
In
fact, the calendar of events, performances
and shows presented during the fair enjoyed a high level of public
participation. Like the “Silver
Night Fever”
exhibition devoted
to couture and evening dresses;
the early 20th
century-style photographic studio proposed by
Lampinposa,
which recorded a boom in snapshots on the Sunday; and the “Silver
Collection”
installation by “TAF
-Trova, Allestisce, Fotografa- - in other words, Find, Prepare, Snap”
in cooperation with the “Scuola internazionale di Comics”. Also
greatly appreciated were the tasty ideas from Frullallà,
and LUBAR’s
typical Sicilian products served at a Piaggio Ape that had been
customized for the occasion. And, last but not least,
the
workshops
by Angelo Caroli, proprietor of A.N.G.E.L.O. Vintage Palace, and the
fashion expert and co-curator of exhibitions about the history of
costume, Aurora Fiorentini, were also a great success.
